Pierce College Equestrian Center in Woodland Hills
As Governor Jerry Brown has declares a state of emergency in Ventura county, residents are being evacuated out of there homes and for some they have to move their horses to shelters, one of the least empty shelters in place is the Pierce College Equestrian Center in Woodland Hills. The Thomas fire has quickly moved into Ventura burning at least 45 thousand acres. Twenty-seven thousand people have been evacuated and 150 structures have been destroyed by the fire are as fast as 40 to 60 miles per hour. In Sylmar, Creek Fire has burned through 11,000 acres so far. Los Angeles police have put out a city-wide tactical alert with officers ready to assist.
